Languages and cultural care

Care that understands the kitchen it walks into.

Australia's east coast is one of the most multicultural places on earth. Culturally matched care is not a page on our website. It is how the whole service is designed.

What culturally matched care actually means.

Language matching

Wherever we can, your Care Circle includes a carer who speaks your language. Care in your first language is not a luxury. For many older people it is the difference between being helped and being understood.

Food that tastes like home

Meals cooked the way your family cooks them. The right spices, the right rituals, the right way to make coffee. Your One Story records it so every carer gets it right.

Faith and observance

Prayer times, church on Sunday, fasting months, dietary laws. Care schedules bend around your observance, never the other way round.

Family structures

In many communities, care decisions involve the whole family. We welcome that. Kitchen-table reviews include everyone you want in the room, and an interpreter if that helps.

Tell us the language that matters.

These are among the languages most requested for aged care across the east coast. When you call, tell us yours. We will be honest about whether we can match it straight away or need a little time to find exactly the right carer.
